Homecraft has been making sauna heaters and supplying complete sauna kits for over 30 years. Each customer receives the same stainless-steel sauna heaters that are in daily use in thousands of commercial and residential sites.
A sauna is basically a dry heat with the addition of moisture to the air when water is sprinkled on the rocks. An adjustable exhaust wall vent on the opposite wall allows air to circulate. The exhaust wall vent should have sliding doors controlling the volume of air allowed into the room.
Regular saunas offer therapeutic value both for the body and mind. Studies indicate that saunas:
Water Treatment
How safe is the water you drink? Do you really know for sure? The quality of the water you and your family drinks varies from day to day. Heavy rainfalls, melting snow and agricultural run-off can affect your waters purity. The simple fact is – water that has been safe for years will not necessarily be safe tomorrow.
Deciding the best water treatment system for your home depends on the quality of your water. To find out the quality of your water a sample would have to be sent to a lab, there they would test for any unwanted contaminants.
Deciding what water treatment system will be easier once you know what contaminants are in your water. At Twilight Spas we carry equipment for any problem:
Softeners:
Water softeners
When water contains a significant amount of calcium and manganese, it is called hard water. Hard water is known to clog pipes and complicates soap and detergent dissolving in water. Water softening is a technique that serves the removal of the ions that cause the water to be hard, in most cases calcium and manganese ions. Iron ions may also be removed during softening.
Iron Filters:
These filters remove iron by first oxidizing it, causing it to come out of the dissolved state, and then filtering it out of solution, capturing it in the filter bed. The accumulated iron is periodically, automatically flushed out of the filter.
Sand Filters:
Water is pushed into sand, as it passes through the sand, dirt and other debris is trapped between the granules of sand at the top of the filter. At the bottom of the filter in the sand there are spokes with holes in them big enough to let water through but not big enough to let sand or other contaminants through.
Carbon Filters:
Carbon water filters work by passing regular tap water over a large surface area of activated carbon. When water passes over the activated carbon, any chemicals or contaminates in the water are bonded at a molecular level to the carbon, effectively removing them from the water.
Cartridge Filters:
Cartridge filters are designed primarily to remove particulate material from fluids. Cartridge filters are disposable and easily replaceable. Cartridge filters can also be used as a pre-filter prior to other treatment processes. An example would be membrane filter systems which utilize a cartridge pre-filter to protect the membranes from any large debris that may be present in the feed water.
Reverse Osmosis Systems:
The goal of reverse osmosis is to filter dissolved substances and ions from water. High pressure forces water across a semi-permeable membrane, which is porous enough to allow water molecules through, but blocks the passage of dissolved substances like salt ions. This pressure forces the water through the membrane in the opposite direction from the one it would otherwise take. This leaves dissolved solutes and contaminants behind. Depending on the type of membrane and the system used, reverse osmosis systems can remove 85 percent to 98 percent of total dissolved solids from water. Bacteria and viruses are much larger than ions or molecules of dissolved solids, so reverse osmosis removes these contaminants as well.

A well pump is a pump that extracts water from an underground water source. Because wells range in size, depth and amount of water available, different well pumps are designed to meet different requirements. Selection depends on factors like the depth to water of your well and the diameter of the well casing. Well pumps can be mounted above a well or submersed in water, depending on the distance the water needs to travel to reach the surface. As a result, the first step in selecting your pump is driven by whether you have a shallow or deep well.
We have many pumps available:
Jet pumps, Submersible, Sewage, Effluent, Sprinkler and De-watering.
Quality Slate Pool Tables provides a playing surface that will never shift or warp. Pick the style, and choose cloth & rail colour.
